Skin boosters are injectables that improve skin texture, elasticity, hydration and overall appearance. Skin booster treatments involve injecting lightweight hyaluronic acid which is a soft, gel-like substance under the skin, which improves the skin's elasticity, firmness and radiance giving an overall glow. Skin boosters are a great way to rehydrate the skin and stimulate new, natural collagen production, giving a fresh and rejuvenated look.

How many treatments do I need?

You will see a noticeable difference after just one treatment, but our recommendation is to have a course of 2-3 treatments to achieve the maximum affect.

Are skin boosters the same as filler?

No. Skin boosters are often mistaken and misidentified as dermal fillers because, like traditional fillers, skin boosters contain Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as their primary ingredient. However, skin boosters differ from fillers as they are much thinner in consistency with the aim of replenishing and revitalising the skin with hydrating properties, rather than increasing the volume of the area in the way that fillers do.

 

How long do skin booster results last?

Results vary from client to client, however you can expect your results to last 4-6 months after your course of treatment(s). This may progress over time depending on frequency of treatments.

How do polynucleotides differ from skin boosters?

While both treatments aim to enhance the skin's appearance and health, their mechanisms and results are quite different:
